FBMR - 10 Things I Hate About You

This movie is an interesting, and loose adaptation of the Shakespeare classic “The Taming of the Shrew” which manages to retain some of the original text, believe it or not. The two leads, Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger, who reminds me, for some reason, of a young Mel Gibson...maybe it's the Aussie accent that Gibson used to have) and Katherine Stratford (Julia Stiles) have wonderful chemistry together an are both fun and pleasing to watch, respectively.

It’s not the deepest movie in the world, but it’s a lot of fun, and has enough laughs and sweetness to please viewers of both genders.
