FBMR - Flight of the Navigator

I remember seeing this film as a kid. I thought it was so cool. I was about the same age as the main character, I could relate to his issues and problems. Many years later, the movie still strikes a chord with me, mostly nostalgic, though.

The story seemed more complex when I was 12, but now I find it a little plain (and maybe it’s just that storylines have since become more intricate to keep people going to the movies). But that still doesn’t prevent this movie from being an entertaining fantasy.

What would you do if you could go back in time, what would you change, if anything? What if you found yourself in the future and everyone around you has aged, but you haven’t? Would you want to stay?

Also, being a fan of Paul Reubens (Pee-Wee Herman), having him as a voice in the movie made me grin.
